Important Notice - MRSA Outbreak
The hospital is currently managing an MRSA (Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus) outbreak on the inpatient unit. We are taking all necessary infection prevention and control measures to ensure the safety of our patients, staff, physicians, volunteers, and community members.
To help prevent the spread of infection, visitor restrictions are now in effect:
- No general visitors are permitted at this time.
- One Essential Care Partner (ECP) is permitted per patient.
- ECPs must wear their identification badge at all times while within the inpatient unit.
Managing an outbreak is never an easy task, and we recognize the challenges this situation presents for everyone involved. We kindly ask for your patience, kindness, and cooperation as our team works diligently to contain the outbreak and maintain a safe environment for all.
